VALENTINE’S NAILS FOR 2021

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner once again and, while dressing up for dinner and drinks might be off the cards this year, we think that’s all the more reason to make the most of what we can do! Giving yourself a set of gorgeous Valentine’s nails is one of the easiest ways you can mark the occasion and feel extra special, even if date night might be around your own dinner table this year.

This eye-catching design has been made with a base of one of our pretty nude pink gel polishes and the pink marble-look centre achieved with our Blooming Gel. You can also adapt the look to suit all skill levels by swapping the marble for a complementing red or pink hue. For the gorgeous gold heart shape outline, you could use gold foils, a gold nail art pen or simply a gold gel polish and fine nail art brush – the choice is yours!

Or why not try these love heart nails from our very own Kirsty? These Valentine’s nails may look complex, but they’re surprisingly easy once you’ve learned the clever masking tape trick. You’ll need some red gel polish and white gel polish for this look, and some nail art crystals for the finishing touches!

Next on our list of Valentine’s nails to try is this gorgeous take on a classic french tip. These love heart nails are so elegant and so easy to achieve! All you need is a nude gel polish as your base coat and white gel polish to create your love hearts. 

We recommend tracing the shape of your hearts onto your nails first with a nail art brush before careful filling in the middle. For this look, your nails will need to be quite long and filed into an almond-shaped point in order to create the perfect love heart shape.

We also love this Valentine’s nail art, which features a little love heart paired with a fun 70’s-style wave at the tip! For these love heart nails, you’ll need three shades; a pale pink or nude for your base, a deep pink or red gel polish for your heart and tip of your nails, and bright pink gel polish to add the finishing touches and highlight your wave.
